So here’s what I did in the meantime.

True story.

For a few seconds, I literally had the thought that I was the only human on earth who urinates and oh-shit-what-is-happening-to-me-how-can-I-give-them-THIS?!

I’ve thought some crazy things before in the height of panic and healthy anxiety, but this is a topper.

Though, if you feel that way looking at your semi-current stuff, it’s a good thing because it means you’re improving.

However, I always have the feeling I’m not where I want to be, and even though this feeling is the impetus for improvement, it can be discouraging to never feel like I’ve truly mastered what I’m trying to do. It’s fun to look back at your old stuff before you knew what you were doing, but then you look at your current stuff and think “ah, hell, I still don’t know what I’m doing.”

Eh.

I guess I’m terrible at it. Or, I’m excellent at it, depending on how you look at it.

Whoa, been awhile, huh?

I plan to start updating a little more regularly now (about once a week). Originally, this was supposed to be a completely traditionally rendered comic, but after a few strips I just found more and more problems with that set up. So, I decided to do all digital. It’s good practice to figure out the full capabilities my tablet/graphics program has, and it allows me to experiment more with style. This is by no means the final style for the comic; each one will probably be a little different until I find one I like. So, here I am again. Hope my updates will be a little more consistent from now on.
