Whooaaa what, an update?!
So, here’s the deal. Originally I intended Rant Hour to be, while maybe not my magnum opus (I hope not!), an attempt at something legitimate. That is to say I had intended to update it regularly, expand upon it, and so on. My goals have changed a lot, so I stopped really working on it and decided to consider it as just a side project, gathering dust on the internet.
But recently I’ve felt like posting again. Stuff is starting to piss me off enough that I feel the need to continue sharing it, so you may see an update or two. Yay! I know you’ve all been on the edge of your seats!

I’ve been thinking about this decision for awhile and held off as long as I could, for a few reasons I will detail below. However, at this point, I feel that this decision is for the best. Rant Hour will be updated when I have something to say, instead of the set update schedule of Wednesday and Saturday, until further notice.
What this means is that I will now be updating this comic according to inspiration rather than trying to keep the update schedule. The update schedule was great for many things: first of all, it allows you all to know when to expect a comic, which everyone loves. Second, it was good practice to keep myself working within an update schedule and sticking with it. These things are still true, but right now I feel it is best that I let the comic be updated on an as-needed basis. When I find myself digging for ideas to keep the update schedule (although I have plenty, they don’t always come to mind all at once), I feel the comic will ultimately suffer. Rant Hour was always intended to be a creative outlet for my petty complaints, and it has felt too restrictive lately to try to force myself to come up with something to rant about when I’ve got my mind on other, more important things. I think relieving myself of a set update schedule for the time being will allow me to free up the comic and keep it to what it was always intended to be: a frank reflection of my feelings about something at the time. Meanwhile, I will be working on my other projects and hope that they will see fruition soon.
